About This Item
American writer John Dos Passos (1896-1970) was known for creating nonlinear stories immersed in the roving lives of the characters; his "U.S.A" trilogy is his best-known work, and both his fiction and nonfiction have had major influence on subsequent literature and especially experimental writers such as Jean-Paul Sarte.
