Direct From The Publisher's Library, The Publisher's Personal Copy, Never Sold Or Circulated . Wayne D. Overholser (1906-1996) Was An American Western Writer. Overholser Won The 1953 First Spur Award For Best Novel For" Law Man" Using The Pseudonym Lee Leighton. In 1955 He Won The 1954 (Second) Spur Award For "The Violent Land". Book Has Single Point Of Fraying At Bottom Front Spine Edge, A Little Foxing To Endpapers, Pages Browned, Otherwise No Wear Or Damage Or Marks. Dj Lightly Worn, Blue Background To Spine Has Faded To Almost White, 1/4" X 1/8" Chip At Top Rear Spine Fold, 1/8" Closed Tear At Top Of Front Panel, Tiny Losses At Tips, Foxing To Flap Edges And A Little Foxing To Endpapers. Scarce; Ballantine Reports That Less Than 2000 Hard Copies Were Usually Done For Their Westerns, And Other Reports Indicate That Most Went To Libraries.
