First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 134 pp. Illustrated frontis with tissue guard. Red cloth binding with gilt and black decoration and titles. Front cover partially detached, cloth darkened, some soil, corners worn, spine ends chipped, spine cloth separated at front edge; rear hinge starting; first signature loose; old contemporaneous presentation bookplate dated November 29th, 1874 to a student at First Presbyterian Church Sabbath School in Albany NY on front paste down, interior clean but browned. Scarce title.
