The text is illustrated with another nine coloured plates of roses, numerous black-and-white photographs and the occasional black-and-white illustration. Green coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. A book on how to grow, prune, graft and generally enjoy the gardening of roses, for Australian conditions. Softening and fraying to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners and lower book edges. Foxing can be seen to all surfaces of the book along with flecking. Small white mark – paper that has adhered to the book, to the rear panel. Browning of the textblock edges and pages with faint foxing to the textblock edges.
