About This Item
NY: Dodd Mead, 1926. First. Hard Cover. First printing. Navy blue cloth lettered in gilt. Contains the first book appearance of Hemingway's "The Undefeated" as well as conributions by Ring Lardner ("Travelogue") and others. A tight, nearly fine example with just a touch of rubbing to the publisher's imprint on foot of spine, all other gilt bright. Small private individual's library sticker front pastedown and small vintage bookseller's label rear pastedown. No jacket. A nice example indeed of this early Hemingway appearance.
