Publisher's bright,crisp,unblemished,sharp-cornered with exception of top,two corners' tips with miniscule curl, original plain black RAF blue cloth boards with bright, crisp, blocked gilt lettering, and immaculate plain white endpapers. Visually the exterior appearance is acceptable, and particularly internally, the book is in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation [for a book of its age. It is only the exterior faults described that prevents a slightly higher overall grading.Despite them,it really is still an exceptional example for its cleanliness, brightness and lack of other major detracting faults. For more than twenty-five years Don Mosey has been intimately associated with cricket as a writer and broadcaster. He was BBC Cricket Correspondent until his retirement in 1984,and has een a member of the Radio 3 Test Match Special commentary team for over a decade. In #The Best Job in the World' Don Mosy writes about his experiences both in England and on tour withthe England team,to New Zealand,India,Pakistan,West Indies and Sri Lanka. He covered the first Tests ever played in Colombo, Napier and St. Johns. He has been involved with Ian Botham since he was an 18-year-old prospect and watched Botham's first Test century. Over the years Don Mosey has accumulated a fund of stories which have not been broadcast and it is these which he now includes in his book. There are stories too from his commentary box colleagues Brian Johnson and Fred Trueman. As the title of his book implies,Don Mosey has loved his work, and it is this sense of enjoyment that will remain with the reader.
