About This Item
Signed. First Edition - later printing. Near Fine / very good. A white woman lived among the Navajos and passed as an Indian among whites. The book was endorsed by Navajo tribal elders, but was controversial elsewhere. Book has slight wrinkles on the head and tail of the spine, but the corners are square and the pages are clean and unmarked and it won't stay open if you lay it flat. The dust jacket has edgewear and shelf wear and is listed as very good +. The author / subject has dated, inscribed and signed on the front free end paper.
