Original maroon cloth with gilt to the spine. Some general light wear, spine and back cover have a light small smudge, interior clean and unmarked. Hard to find in this nice condition. "The facsimile made from the original manuscript in the British Library has been enlarged by 18%. Since Shaw wrote most of "the play" on the recto side of the leaf, Garland has reproduced the pages continuously without inserting the blank versos. On the few occasions when Shaw used the versos, these have een reprinted facing the appropriate rectos with blanks added in the correct position." Includes Appencides: Description of the Manuscript; Notes on Non-Play Texts; Shaw's Costume Sketches; Instructions to Producer. Nice copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 271 pages .
