About This Item
Beothuck Poems is a collection of poetry inspired by the history of the Beothuck indigenous people of what is now called Newfoundland. The poems reflect various aspects of Beothuck life and traditions as well as encounters with Europeans who came to Newfoundland in the fifteenth century.
This copy may be categorised as fine, with only some slight discolouration to the top right corner of the dust jacket. There is also an inscription signed by the author and addressed to Barbara at Oberon, the publisher, dated 1979.
