The first of three collections of posthumously published essays and stories culled from Fisher's notebooks includes accounts of her family's migration to California, entries from her 1927 Laguna cabin journal, and a finely drawn portrait of her family friend Aunt Gwen, whom Fisher regarded as the most important culinary influence in her life. Fine in fine jacket.
