unpaginated with drawings and illustrations. Quarto (10" x 7 3/4") bound in original publisher's beige cloth with brown lettering to spine and pictorial to cover in original pictorial jacket. Illustrated by Tom Bahti. Inscribed by author. This is an original and poetic evocation of this past as suggested to the author and artist by many of the remarkable drawings on rock left by early man in their native Southwest. Condition: Inscribed on half-title. Insect damage to edges. Jacket with edge chips, spine lacking at head else a good copy in a poor jacket.
