This work includes not only Klamath Indian legends of the Frog in the Moon, the White Deerskin Dance, and The Coyote teaches the Indian How to Make Flint, but also accounts of Klamath Indian tribal members, efforts to secure fishing rights, and even how Johnny Southard (Mad Bull), a Karouck from Happy Camp won the Marathon race from San Francisco to Grants Pass, OR over 485 miles in 1927.
