About This Item

Warne., 1932. 1st. Ed. Rep.. pp.xxv, 238 with 111 plates. A vg. copy in dw. which is lightly chipped at edges and marked in places. Overall a thor. very good copy. (Harding 788). The aim of this work was to give a general description of the many groups, and some of the commoner representative species. Considerable space, too, was given to the habits, and to what may be called the social life, of the insects.
