About This Item
Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company,, 1968. First edition, first printing, of the author's debut novel. Spine ends a touch bumped, a little rubbing to spine ends and tips, slight bump to lower edge of text block. A near-fine copy, clean and firm, in the jacket, trivial rubbing to extremities and the occasional nick, else sharp and bright. Simon Gikandi, Encyclopedia of African Literature, Routledge, 2002, pp. 38-40.
