Philadelphia, PA: John C. Winston Company No date. The copyright page says 1898 and there is no statement of edition or printing. But the advertisement for other Winston books on the back face of the dust jacket suggests a date on or after 1928. Red cloth-covered boards with white lettering and illustration affixed to the front board. 242 numbered pages, including numerous illustrations. One leaf has a corner crease. The spine lettering is scuffed. Otherwise near fine. The dust jacket has a 3" by 4" piece missing on the front face and a 1" square chip at the spine tail. Soiled and torn elsewhere. Now in new Brodart removable dust jacket protector.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
