Blue cloth, 12mo, 373 pages; inscription in elegant pen on front free endpaper; attractively illustrated dust jacket a bit soiled and edge worn. The fifth installment in the Beau Geste series, chronicling the adventures of the men of the French Foreign Legion in North Africa.
