Hardback: illustrated in b/w/brown by PHYLLIS ROWAND, dj is a little discoloured, some foxing on the top back edges, spine and corners lightly rubbed, price of $1.75 on the front flap, pictorial covers (as dj) are also a little discoloured and dusty, edges and corners slightly worn, cloth spine is lightly rubbed on the tips, name on the front flyleaf + an inscription (dated 1962) on the reverse, endpapers foxed + a few internal spots, lower page edges are finger creased, still g. 4to, (20pp). Lists to Charlotte and the White Horse (1954) on the back of the jacket..
