About This Item
Used book has markings, writing from the previous owner. DJ has some bumping, rubbing, little tears on the top, spine, edges, corners. Outer page edges with tanning, browning, stains and foxing. Pages deckled. Top stain of brick red on outer edges. It is the story of a young Army lieutenant and his experiences as he and his men storm ashore to fight the Japanese. The GI dialog is too authentic and descriptions and nomenclatures of equipment are too accurate for Bowman not to have been there. 1945. B9.
