New York: The Century Co, 1887. Softcover. g. 8vo. 32 volumes (complete). 827pp. Original gilt decorated tan wrappers. Some chipping, creasing, discoloration and minor staining to wrappers. Occasional small, closed tears. A detailed look at the American Civil War with articles originally published as "The Century War Series" in "The Century Magazine". Most of the articles have been contributed by Union and Confederate officers. Illustrated with b/w photographs, maps, and drawings. Volume 32 entails complete index. Hard to find as a complete set. Wrappers in good, interior in very good condition.
