Corners bumped and lightly chipping. Head and tail of spine rubbed. Edges of textblock darkened. Marbled endpapers. Hinges cracked all volumes at front endpapers. Some creasing/ folding to pages and front matter, Pages clean and unmarked with very light foxing. Binding solid, Description applies to all volumes. Vol 1- 750pp, Vol. 2- 760 pp., Vol. 3- 752 pp, Vol 4.- 829 pp. An interesting and good condition multivolume history of the civil war with information provded by Union and Confederate officers, based off the “Century War Series.” B&W illustrations and maps throughout.
