The book relates the naval operations in and about the Java Sea from the outbreak of the war in the Pacific on 7 December 1941 to 1 March 1942. These operations resulted in the destruction and dispersal of the entire Allied fleet assembled to oppose the Imperial Japanese Navy. 260 pages with 21 black and white photographs, and 7 maps. Boom in very good condition with ?previous owners details cut out first page and signature on title page otherwise near fine. No dust jacket.
