Oakland, California: Magic Limited, 1946. Two 3-ring binders containing all 86 original issues of The Bat, all 10 issues of Trickster Monthly and the July 1946 Unconventional Report. The Bat was a magic magazine, published from 1943 through 1951, containing close-up and stage effects of every kind. It contained contributions from many prominent magicians of the area including Charlie Miller, Dr. Jaks, Bert Allerton, Charles Jordan, Frank Chapman and T. Page Wright,. Trickster monthly, first published in 1946, was also produced by Lloyd James for the magic community to keep fellow magicians up to date with current events in the magic world. Pages have some toning and the binders have some sunning to the spine as well as some shelfwear. Second volume binder has some soiling on the front cover. Many pages have fold marks across the middle as they were originally mailed folded in half from the publisher.. First Edition. Paperback. Collectible- Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Magazine.
