1913. SPRAGUE, Francis William. BARNSTABLE AND YARMOUTH SEA CAPTAINS AND SHIP OWNERS. Together with (in same volume) LIST OF SAILINGS FROM NEW ENGLAND TO SAN FRANCISCO, 1849-1856 by Leavitt SPRAGUE. (Brookline, MA:) Privately printed, 1913. Dedicated to F. W. Sprague's father, Caleb Sprague. 52 pp. + b/w plates. 8vo., brown cloth stamped in gilt. Near fine with minor shelfwear only, cloth and gilt lettering clean and bright. Pencil ownership and notes to front flyleaf. Internally fine. Handwritten letters, both dated 1914, are folded twice. One is a short note concerning the recipient's relatives in an issue of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Rceord, and the next, at two pages, is a note of thanks for the recipient's correspondence and her son's aid in preparing the book.
