About This Item
Near-Fine in bound maroon and gold card covers (not spiral bound), 135 pages, illustrated. Nearly perfect covers, interiors as-new but for gift inscription and owner's stamp on front endpaper. Only 500 copies printed of this history of the Parish of St. James in Manitoba. In 1851, the St. James Anglican Church received a provisional land grant from the Hudson's Bay Company to build a church. The log building constructed in 1855 still stands to remind parishioners of their heritage.
