Seth W. Fowle & Sons., 1883. Soft cover. Good/No Jacket. 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall. 16pp. Yellow pictorial wraps, sewn binding. Moderate soiling and spotting to covers, contents are toned and occasionall lightly spotted, but mostly clean. cover barely attached. A story told in rhyme for each letter of the alphabet, with each letter accompanied by a small but finely-detailed engraving, extolling the wonders of Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry for numerous ailments, plus testimonials and endorsements for Peruvian Syrup. A very attractive primer, and it has nothing to do with vinegar!
