Green cloth with some wear and marking, slight rubbing to spine ends and corners, rampant lion and the slogan 'the lion's mark is always there' in gilt on the front, all edges gilt (with some dust and marking), assume first edition: published November 1903 on copyright page, printed by the Knickerbocker Press, New York, 283 pages including index (no adverts at back), browning to endpapers, one or two smudge-marks to title page, otherwise internally very good, illustrative hands with red and black printing at rear, no d/w.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
