Oblong quarto. 304pp. Blind-stamped paper-covered brown boards in original color photographic dust jacket with white lettering on spine. Photo-illustrated endpapers. Frontispiece and photo-illustrated title page.

Profusely illustrated work on the making of Babel, recollecting parallel stories and real-life characters that revolved around the making of the film. The movie was awarded the Best Director prize at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. With many color and b/w reproductions of photographs by Mary Ellen Mark, Patrick Bard, Graciela Iturbide, and Miguel Rio Branco. Text in English with preface by Eliseo Alberto in Spanish, German and French at rear. Dustjacket with wear along edges and closed tear in lower right corner of front cover. Binding with light wear along edges. Interior in very good+ condition.
