Stated first edition in an unclipped jacket of Oliver Sack's award-winning account of 'Parkinson's disease and sleeping sickness and the effects of the drug L-Dopa'. The unclipped dust jacket, now in protective plastic shows minor wear to the corners and the head and tail of the spine. The upper corner of the front flap reads 'A. $7.95'. The front endpaper has a small note in red pen 'thesis p. 232', while the indicated page has a red line in the margin identifying a passage of particular interest. Otherwise the interior is clean, square, and unmarked.
