New York, 1958. unbound. 2 pages (front and back), 8.5 x 5.5 inches, 294 West 11th Street, New York City, no date, circa 1958. Written to fellow artist and acclaimed sculptor Robert Laurent, in small part: "...I'm sending the painting out immediately - unfortunately I have no frame to fit it. We're looking forward to having a Laurent in our collection - Do you think you'll be in New York before the 15th? If not - you can leave the torso at the Rosenberg Galleries - or Mary Kellner - whichever is more convenient..." Two horizontal folds; small crease on the lower left corner. Very good condition.<br/> <br/> American artist who is celebrated for his intimate portraits, still lifes, and landscapes in both the abstract and impressionist style.<br/> <br/>
