Stimson from 1906-1909 and to Secretary of War Stimson (1911-1913). He taught at Harvard Law School from 1914 until 1939, when he was appointed Associate Justice of the Supreme Court by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and served as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court until his retirement in 1962. . Document.
