38 Cornwall Gardens, undated. 3 pp. 7 x 4½ inches, fine. Lord Napier of Nagdala (1810-90) served in campaigns in India and distinguished himself at the siege of Lucknow during the Indian Mutiny. After the Abyssinian Expedition of 1868, Napier of Magdala became commander in chief in India.
