Government House, Sydney, 21 April 1896. 1 page 8 x 5 inches. On the verso is a part letter forwarding this to an autograph collector in 1897. Henry Robert Brand, 2nd Viscount Hampden (1841 1906), Governor of New South Wales from 1895 to 1899. Hampden Bridge in Kangaroo Valley, NSW is named after him. ... I hate snakes and other horrors. I really would rather walk 10 miles the other way from Mr. McGarvin Smiths milking factory.
