New York: Century Co., 1890.. 8vo. 501 pp.; with numerous black and white plates, chielfy portraits. Good in ivory blind-stamped faux leather boards with gilt borders and lettering on spine; top edge gilt. Ex-library with no exterior markings; bookplate inside front cover, with further markings in ink. Spine is slanted. Covers generally soiled with numerous small tears and nicks. Rear hinge starting to loosen, but still sturdy.
