[10], 13-230, [1], [1] (pages of publisher's advertisements); [12], 15-268; [12], 15-232 pp. Red cloth with gold lettering on the spine; green topstain; pink topstain; blue topstain. Volume one illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of Russell and with four plates; volume two with a frontispiece portrait of Russell and five additional plates; volume three with a frontispiece portrait of Russell and with five plates. Russell was a prolific author, an activist for peace, a brilliant philosopher, and educator. He dedicated his life to pursuing the fundamental truths of human existence. This is his story, told from his perspective. Some pencil marginalia, volume one with a touching gift inscription, volume three's topstain nearly faded away; jackets are price-clipped with a few hints of edge wear.
