Glue residue on spines due to repairs by previous owner. Head and tail of spines chipped. Small closed tear along tail of spine on Vol.II. Scuffing and some staining to boards. Water staining to back board of Vol.II. Three pieces of clear cello-tape to front and rear endpapers. Some water staining to bottom part at page centers starting on page 138 through page 272 not affecting text. An authentic and comprehensive history of Buffalo with some account of its early inhabitants both savage and civilized comprising historic notes of the six nations or Iroquois Indians, including a sketch of the Life of Sir William Johnson and of other prominent white men, long resident among the Senecas. Illustrated with two b/w fold-out maps. Binding in good, interior in very good condition.
