Katowice, Poland: National Publishing Agency-State Museum Oswiccim Brazezinka (Krajowa Agencja Wydawnicza - Panstwowe Muzeum Oswiccim Brazezinka), 1982. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Hard cover in very good condition with black, lightly textured, boards with Title blind-stamped on front cover. Interior text clean & tight but for an inscription in blue ink on front free end paper (assuming written in Polish.) The first 15 pages are comments and reactions from world leaders upon visiting the site. The balance of book consists of pages of photographs of the camps, buildings, prisoners, and much more. 96 photographs in all. In addition there are 12 pages, interspersed throughout, of small head shots of prisoners, many in prison uniforms - 70 pictures per page. Several pages show photos of letters and notes. The book is written in Polish. However, also laid in is an 8 5/8"" wide x 7 7/8"" tall stapled booklet, containing 4 leaves / 8 pages, with a translation of the words in the book into English. French, and German. Translations start off with header ""Inscriptions in the Visitor's Book."" Also, laid in is a ""Tourist Service Center"" receipt for parking at the State Museum Oswiccim Brazezinka where it is probable this book was purchased during a visit to the Museum. Dust jacket in good condition with shelf & edge wear and rubbing of the black color. Unlike most jackets, there are no words on the jacket and the jacket flaps but the title in white on front and spine, and a code ""CENA ZL 350."" at top right of rear panel. * The words of Rudolf Kirschlaeger, President of Austria, upon visiting the site in 1975: ""I can find no words to express my feelings - there remains only the most earnest determination to make every effort that never again could anything like this take place. . . ""
