The text is a summary of "Recent Economic Changes in the United States, The Report of the Committee on Recent Economic Changes of the President's Conference on Unemployment, Herbert Hoover, Chairman; including the reports of a special staff of The National Bureau of Economic Research, Inc., published May, 1939." Black cloth binding with red title block on front cover and red titles on spine, red top edge. Cover spotted and a bit scrubbed, some edge wear, top edge faded, former owner's name "D. R. French" on front free end paper, a little spotting and tanning of interior pages, binding stressed a little between pages 148 and 149, all pages attached.
