Atlas Patrons, Atlas Sponsors, introduction by authors, figures, tables, artists, glossary, plant list, references and index. The text is illustrated with a black and white drawing of each bird described along with a map of Australia showing this range, breeding sites and where it it has been cited. Photographic boards (wraparound) with brown and green coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. As the title would suggest and Atlas of birds found within Australia and where they could be found and their breeding areas (if they breed within Australia). Inserted loosely into the book are to pieces of paper from the Royal Australasian Ornithologists union That – one the 1985 catalogue, and, the other an order form for transparent overlays for the book. Some rubbing of the book corners and edges. Very light age toning of the text block edges and pages. The inserted pieces of paper have a couple of foxing spots. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
