Full-leather hardcover in good plus condition: the original calf binding has been repaired in the past with new spine and corners; spine is very nice condition; original boards are stained and crackled with a fwq small chips to edges; straight; hinges strong; a little toning and rippling to pages; to backside of title page is stamped: "Sion College Library. Sold by order of the President and Governors 1938." The title page and frontispiece for the book are missing and the text begins with the title page to the first book. Title page; blank; dedication page in Latin; blank; four pages of dedication to William Seymour; to the reader; blank; 2-page contents; 1-29: to the Judicious Reader; 2 pages of accolades to the author; one page contents; 1-38 A Vindication of Astrology; blank leaf; next page is numbered 49 but it does not appear that any pages have been removed; 49-112 : Judgment of the Stars; then begins: An Introduction to Elections with title page, blank, 4 pages of dedication to Henry Perrepoint; 2-page "to the Reader"; 4-page contents; 121-202: An Introduction to Elections; title page : Astrology in its Purity; blank; 6-page dedication to Montague Berty; 2-page "To the Studious Reader"; Astrologia Mund orPure Astrologie: 213-333; 3-page postscript; 3-page contents; blank; 11-page index; last page is a note to the reader and a list of faults. .
