About This Item
London: Martin Secker, 1930. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. N/a. 215pp. 1930. First edition. A very good, clean, tight copy in original publisher's maroon cloth boards with gilt embossed facsimile signature to the front board and gilt embossed title to the spine. No inscriptions. 3 tiny splits to the rear inner hinge - probably insect damage - the largest being no more than 3mm in length - the rear board obviously still remains very firmly attached. Some light foxing to the front endpapers including the title page. The head and tail of the spine and the upper two board corners a little bumped - the cloth boards almost entirely free from soiling for fading. A very good, clean, tight copy of this first edition.
