The route was from Shergon to Dirang Dzong, Lugathan, Nyure, Karta, Chayul Dzong, Charme, Sanga Choling Gompa, Tsari, Chickchar, and on to Migyitun, Tsoga, Molo, Tsangpo, etc. Careful observations of primulas, rhododendrons, the unusual fauna, people, land use, geography and geology of Tibet and the details of climax formations, localities and plants.
