About This Item
Later Edition; A Very Good Book in a Very Good dust jacket. SIGNED by the author on a personal stamp on the 2nd free paper. Originally published in 1929, this is the 1956 reissue; a handsome copy of this work on the American Revolution and Benedict Arnold; rare in collectible condition and very scarce signed. This copy is in very good condition with tight binding, a bright gold design over black boards, and clean pages throughout; the book does show some light rubbing to the spine lettering and some minor shelf wear to the spine ends and board edges, else near fine or better. Housed in a crisp and clean very good dust jacket that shows some moderate chipping to the spine ends and corners with a minimal loss of material, an approximately 2" tear along the front flap fold, and an overall general age-toning to the jacket. Overall, a lovely copy with an intact, original jacket enhanced by the author's signing; not price clipped ($4.00 intact), and not ex-library. Protected in a Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box.
