Baltimore: R.H. Woodward Company, 1896. This Salesman's prospectus (or salesman's dummy) is complete with two volumes in one, each with sheets for the prospective buyer information. The note is that the finished volume would be four times thicker. Depending upon the kind of binding the price would be in the $1.50 to $3.00 range. Bound with this work is: Talks to Children About Jesus. The $3.00 edition would be in Morocco and have an image of Bethlehem on the front cover. Columbia University has a similar copy in their collection on the book prospectus. Bound in half orange and half blue pictorial cloth lettered and decorated in black and silver and dark brown and gilt respectively. Some soiling, staining or rubbing to boards. some bumping to upper edge. A very good copy.
