Foreword by J. Evetts Haley. Photographs by Charles DeBus. The story of the brief but colorful history of the six-shooter in the United States, and especially in Texas. It focuses on the artistry of Texas gun-maker Edmond de la Garrigue, who produced the first Grizzly revolver. Laid-in in the publisher's original prospectus. The first publication of Chama Press. J. Evetts Haley says, ".... it is destined to become a rare item and should be in every Texas collector's library." Fine, unread copy housed in a matching brown cloth slipcase.
