Sheet size 51 x 33 cm, Images 27 x 18.5 cm. with Italian text within the engraved frame and English text beneath. t Engraved frontispiece, title page and "Indice" at end. 28 plates of street merchants . Plate 2 ("Erbariol" herb merchant ) handcolored....Some plates watermarked "Lepard 17" and "94." Folio. ivory half-vellum with corners, spine with raised bands in a contemporary binding....Plates present: 2, 8, 10, 15, 16, 20, 24, 26, 33, 36, 37, 39 to 48, 51 to 54, 56, 57 & 60.. A few plates waterstained in the far left margin.... Colas, 3121; Lipperheide, 1330; OCLC Number 49347631.....Provenance: Mario Serandrei, with his engraved bookplate. (23 May 1907 – 17 April 1966) was an Italian film editor and screenwriter.
