Rare Original Collectible Near Fine First Edition Hardcover of this Large handsome Folio study of Medieval Arthurian Art This very important study by one of the fathers of the International Arthurian Society and champion of Celtic Fairy woman and their importance in Arthurian romance. Here we have Loomis and his (all of them actually) brilliant wife's classic and crucial study of Medieval Arthurian art from Manuscript to the Modena archway. Handsome blue hardcovers in clean straight condition. Tight binding 55 pp. text 420 B/W Illus. Color frontis with tissue paper. This would be close to "Fine" condition but for some toning and foxing.
