Profusely illustrated throughout with 55 color plates, 180 duotone plates and 39 black and white illustrations. Stated first edition, first printing with no other printings listed. A retrospective "on the work of Arthur Tress, one of the most prolific and diversified art photographers working in America." Published in conjunction with an eponymously named exhibition held at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. July 7 to September 23, 2001. No previous ownership marks.
