New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1917. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. Illustrated from 16 photographs. Owner name, binding cracked but still sound, covers slightly soiled and rubbed, corners and spine ends lightly worn, about very good. Nicely Inscribed by Sam Hume, then director of the Arts and Crafts Theatre of Detriot, who is mentioned several times in the book. The Arts and Crafts Theatre is the setting for the photographs reproduced in the book, and also the place where *Theatre Arts Magazine* was launched in 1916, with Cheney as editor.
