London: Clarendon Press, 1939 Dark red covers with gilt imprinting on the front cover and spine. The top and bottom spine and corners are bumped consistent with shelfwear. 344 pages which are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased. The front free endplate has a small price stamp from Oxford University at the bottom left corner. The front edge has a very small dark spot close to the back and the pages are starting to age-tone. The binding is starting to hinge at page 320, although the binding is still good and tight. A fine collector's edition from a non-smoking household. We ship daily.. 2nd Edition. Cloth. Very Good -/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
