Full green embroidered silk cloth. 144 pp. Several full-page colour illustrations painted by Takashi Nomura + B&W sketch illustrations by Yoshiko Akai in text. Very slight spotting to top edge of text block. Dust jacket is cropped (but not price clipped) to flaps, faded to spine, foxed to reverse. In this day of tension and overcrowding, it is a joy to explore with Mr. Mittwer the world of flowers, a world he knows intimately and imparts with a rare sensitivity.
